The multi eating spaces is a little strange. Bright modern look with lots of happy trendy people. Close to downtown.

The German influence is unusual for Canadian brew pubs (Creekside on Granville Island, Vancouver is another).
The beers were fine, just wish they had a little more selection. The wheat was my favourite of the beers on tap.

I found that the staff did not know much about what they had but they were friendly.

The seafood that I ordered came quickly and tasted good.

I ended up on the deck which is located out in the parking area.

Just an FYI for Dennison's fans..........

On Friday May 3rd 2003 i was at Smokeless Joe in Toronto and they were serving Dennison's Wheat on tap. I'm not sure if this will be on the menu for much longer so get to it while you can. This is a great local brew. One of the best wheat beers i've ever had!!!

Not particularly impressed with Denison's - food was nothing special and beer was served in glasses that seemed unclean (ever get that feeling?). The Wheat was good, a little too cold for my tastes (it was 4 degrees outside). They are near my hotel, and I was really hoping to make it my nightly spot - not so.
