The taproom is a culmination of years of hard work. We've dreamed about being able to serve our beers in a beautiful, welcoming space where you can see all of the aspects of our process and enjoy the fruits of our labour with us.
We have four draught lines which rotate through our evolving releases as well as some of the most exciting spontaneous and mixed fermentation beers the UK has to offer.
We have a fridge loaded with our bottles to drink in or takeaway and you can also find a carefully curated selection of our favourite wild beers from around the UK alongside rotating lager and pale ale offerings from the likes of Utopian and The Kernel.
We're child and dog friendly.

Drank in here waiting for the Blackjack tap to open and very much glad I attended with a lot of options, not just the most excellent Balance stuff, probably the smartest and cosiest arches in the Manchester Beer scene

Situated under railway arches in Manchester, this is one of the most exciting breweries in the UK to me.
Very relaxed atmosphere with great views of the barrels in the back. Great service, attentive and knowledgeable about the beer.
Quality of the beer was very high, everthing was interesting and tasty. The only drawback is that there are only four beers on tap. They do have plenty of bottles to try as well.
I loved hanging out at Balance, I only with I had more time here.
