Enjoyed on tap at the source in Evergreen, MT; my first experience with Patriotic American Brewing
Poured into an IPA-style glass
P gorgeous deep mahogany w/ a 1f foamy tan head; great retention; med-heavy lace left behind
N med aroma of roast, plum, and a light earthiness
T roasty with lightly sweet toffee elements beneath; a bit of plum in there as well; some subtle green coffee; balanced profile; alcohol not detected; seems just a touch unrefined, but tasty nonetheless
Mf med-full bodied; creamy; med to med-high carb
O probably the best stout pour I've ever seen; nice mouthfeel as well; the profile could use just a little tweaking imo, but it isn't too shabby as-is
