Strong malty aroma, with thick fluffy head. Fine carbonation. taste is slightly metallic and very dry. Overall mouth feel is good with lingering dryness on the palate. Has some really nice qualities, but taste is it’s weak point.

This is a very popular beer in Darmstadt, Hessen (Germany). Sadly, it seems to be a very good representation of the massively over-produced German pilsener that is wildly popular amongst the German population today.
The beer has little character at all. It's watery and bland and always tastes a bit stale. There is a slight citrus flavor that mingles with a generic lager taste. I could barely get through the bottle.
With so many wonderful German beers out there, this Pilsener is a sad embarrassment to the style. Even amongst the mass produced German pils, it doesn't stack up well. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from it.

Pours clear golden with fluffy white head with good, if nor excellent retention, patchy lacing. Aroma is light sweet malt, herbal hops.
Taste is plain citrus bitterness, bits of sweetish malt. Thin mouthfeel with slightly above moderate carbonation.
Overall, quite average German Pils, I had a feeling towards the ened of the glass. it was slightly too thin even for Pils.
