their stab at a light lager, really rough, totally whack on the fermentation side of things, a tough pint to put down, and frankly my homie and i left here quite disappointed in our beers, despite the fact that local industry folks were recommending this place, maybe we chose wrong, but we came away thoroughly unimpressed. looks fine, blonde, see through, fizzy, short white big bubbled head. the nose and taste though are problematic, its sweaty and stinky, like it got run way too warm, or even has some chemical issue, melted plastic, mildewy dishrag, moldy citrus, its just way off, nothing clean and tidy or crisp about it at all, and with such a light grain base, there is nowhere to hide, this is just exposed as really rough beer, amateur in a bad way, metallic, cheap, thin, the best thing about it is the carbonation, but this beer should have been dumped. not sure what is going on in here, two sloppy beers that we drank, impersonal and disinterested service, weird vibes, not at all what i was expecting and this was definitely our least favorite brewery stop of a great weekend in reno. they will not survive if things dont improve radically...
