The colour is wine red-brown; the pale beige head is low.
The smell is very mild with some transient notes of aroma hops.
The taste is mild with some notes of butter, some anonymous malt and a dry aftertaste with an odd touch of gravy.
The carbonation is average for an ale with big bubbles.
At first, I thought that this one was the regular, lighter John Bull ale. Boy was I disappointed.
