MILDLY TANGY, SPARKLING
Extra pale Pilsner malt is the main body of Thalheim Pils, whose pleasant hop note and light aftertaste set it apart. A delightful, very delicate hop bitterness accompanies each mouthful across the palate through to the tangy, spicy-floral aftertaste. The specially selected hop varieties complement the wonderful hop bouquet of Thalheim Pils with top notes of citrus and bergamot.

I know that this brewery is actually a mineral water company that makes two kinds of beers too - so beer to them is no second nature, I would say. Even this pilsner, I can feel that they were trying and they also wanted to make something special (it is extra hopped, with hops that are quite aromatic) so altogether it felt to me like when a craft brewery makes a lager or a pilsener - it is not bad, yes it is extra, but it is not the kind of lager you are used to chugging down.
