SEPTEMBER 2023. 33 cl can (€5 in the beershop fridge).
Berliner Weisse with added raspberries (so... Catharina Sour).
When poured, it immediately releases a sweet scent of berry jam.
Poured is reddish, slightly hazy.
Frivolous foam: evanescent like that of a Prosecco.
In the mouth, a very light body supported by a lively carbonation (something that I have not always noticed in other craft beers put in cans).
Widely recognizable raspberry flavour, entry dominated by the taste of berries followed by an acid note, with a pleasant astringency albeit very fast and which leaves ample space on the palate for the raspberry flavour.
On the finish, in the aftertaste you can feel the classic hints of wheat, very light and hidden by the fruity taste.
Classic "Catharina Sour" with raspberry, simple and in style.
