Sent to me by a niece who lives near the brewery.
The pour is transparent amber with an impressive near white head that leaves sheets of lacing.
The taste threw me a little, but then I read the description. A type of flaked wheat (Kernza) is added to the mash and it adds a nutty taste that is simultaneously bitter.
It’s a good thing that it’s crisp, (well, relatively) as I had a full 32 oz crowler to drink.
OA, it’s really quite good. The addition of the flaked wheat makes it stand out from the normal.
