" Brotbier." From the tap, it pours a nice very brown color with a modest off-white head that reduces to a ring and leaves lacing. Scent is of light sweet malt with notes of caramel. Taste follows nose, with a very pleasant roasted malt flavor in the mouth. This is a "bread beer" as it is made with a portion of stale bread from a local bakery.
