Enjoyed on tap at T.J. Smith's in Warrington. PA.
Arrived in a standard pint glass. A hazy, honey color. Semi-opaque. Nice lacing on the side of the glass.
Citrusy, hoppy aroma.
A good IPA. Flavors of pineapple, lemon, mango with a mild bitterness..
Medium consistency with mild carbonation.
An easy drinking but not a "wow" IPA. Nothing off putting but nothing that stands out. I'd drink again...cheers!

Not the finest NEIPA I have had but I keep going back for another of these. Modest hazy flavor which makes this very drinkable, yet savorable. Not wimpy like a session, this one hold its profile. I could see less crafty friends using as a stepping stone to top shelf hazies. Grab a six and enjoy.

Broad Street Brewing "Hey Yo"
on tap @ Chickie & Pete's, Philadelphia International Airport
Look: Hazy gold body beneath a standard sized bright white head. Good head retention and lacing.
Smell: The aroma is sweetish, berry-like, and citrusy.
Taste: Fuller than the aroma suggests with hop resins, peach, and some pine. A moderate to median bitterness of around 20-30 IBUs leads to a mainly dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: A decent enough but not great NEIPA.

Two twelve ounce cans get emptied into a clear glass liter mug with these results. There's plenty of carbonation and it produces more than enough just-off-white head that recedes, yet lasts. The brew is straw-amber in color and it's hazy, but not murky. Although not particularly aromatic, it does provide a hint of hops and some breadlike starches. There's little more to taste, although the hops ramp up their presence, bringing a defined citrus bite. But, there's no malty counterbalance and the body isn't close to what a hazy beer should bring. Maybe that's why there's almost no glass lacing. Horrible, it's not. But this is just another mediocre hazy American IPA. A one note (citrus/pine hop bite) delivery that doesn't even do that exceptionally. At best it has a slightly above average hop kick for the style, but a less than desired complexity of flavors and mouthfeel.

On tap at Chickies & Pete’s terminal c: pours straw gold, head is off white and presents one finger thick, dissipates to nothing but leaves lacing on glass side.
Smell is tough as it’s served on cold side but citrus pith, light base malt, some pine.
Taste is more citrus, some floral, very light stone fruit, base malt and biscuit.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.
Overall a solid HIPA - a little soft and light on bitterness and aromatic depth.
