With two twelve ounce cans emptied into a clear glass liter mug, let's see what this is all about. The pours produced a liquid dark amber in color, bright but opaque. It smells like most modern American IPAs, with starches and hops combining to create some sort of fruity aroma. In this case, it's rather mild. There wasn't much of a head produced. The taste is also mild, yet nicely balanced. The hop bite is citrusy, sharp and clean. There's even a piney note during the finish. It falls way short of a decent mouthfeel, as it also does producing a head and glass lacing. Still, there's enough overall to accept it for what it provides. Most session beers are don't bother beers. This is better than that.
