August 2014: 500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Inspired by British Mild and Brown Ale. Hops are Target and East Kent Goldings. Slow gusher bottle. Cloudy dark brown colour, huge off-white head (over-carbonated). Strong dryish aroma of woodwork, ashes and roasted malts, hints of cold coffee. Dry flavour, notes of wood and weak coffee. Lacks the malty smoothness of a real English dark mild or brown ale.
