Our heavily hopped West Coast IPA features a basic malt backbone of 2 row malt and pilsner to really allow the Hops to shine at the forefront! A huge dose of whirlpool and dry hops pack this IPA full of all the west coast flavors we have grown to love. These hops will fill your senses with the resin, and pine while keeping the bitterness low enough not to tax your palate.

Poured a seethru golden orange body with decent head and lace. Medium body, decent stickiness to it thanks to the maltiness and the beer has something that is a little like grapefruit and then finishes dry but more full-bodied and dense than a typical West Coast IPA.

I had this on the the brewery's opening day. It was served in a plastic cup. Its color is a bright orange-yellow with a thin, milky head and lacing. For a West Coast IPA it's fairly cloudy. The smell offers lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, red berry, and soft floral hops. It's malt-forward with pleasant notes of tart citrus, orange, and red berry from the Amarillo and Mosaic hops. There is dank, resinous pine and the Magnum hops provide clean bitterness throughout. It's well-carbonated and very easy to drink at 6.3% ABV. Overall, Intercity IPA is a solid opening day offering with great potential. To me, it's a hybrid West Coast and New England IPA. I'd gladly drink it again.
