look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.5

pours nearly pitch black with one inch tan head. citrus/piney hops mix with roasted coffee and hints of caramel sweetness. taste is lots of roasted and hop bitterness, although noticeable separation between the two makes for an interesting experience whereby hop bitterness hits back of tongue before grain bitterness. bready malt though the sip with a dry finish. medium body with low carbonation, perhaps a bit watery.
