Bottle shared at Little Beer Quarter, Wellington. Reviewed from notes.

Murky toffee-amber with an immense cream head that takes eons to recede to a level that permits drinking. Crusty, haphazard lacing.

Rippingly pungent floral and piney hops transitioning into sherbety citrus, mainly lemon and orange. Big.

Taste is bracingly hopyy, with thick grapefruit and powerful apple skin notes. There's a chalkiness to it, which adds plenty to teh body. Decent carbonation and moderate booze heat. Needs time.

Overall, reminiscent of a cross between Murray's Spartacus and SN Bigfoot. Plenty of potential but too hot to handle fresh.
