Bright red color, with ruby edges.
A beautiful cream colored foam, creamy and sticky.
Quite light smell, with malt and caramel, clean.
The taste is very clean too, with light hop notes.
Pleasant, great drinkability, it left a good taste.
Again some hop in the aftertaste.
Pleasant.

This is the second beer I have tried from Bruch.
Landbier pours out a nice medium-tan brown, light tan head, decent retention.
Smells of caramel malts toasted graininess, the hardwater mineral smells that alot of beers from Saarbrucken seem to have, but pretty good, albeit a little watery.
Taste is fuller than expected. Light toasted maltiness, upfront, light grains, touch of bittering hops and a nice light, crisp finish, with little residual sweetness. A bit of the mineral flavor comes through in the taste as well, but is not overriding, and well masked in the maltiness.
Mouthfeel is the lighter side of medium, as in any good Dunkel lager. ABV is low, at 4.8% and goes down quite well. This would pair up nicely with new and traditional german foods. Pretzels, with the malt flavors, or gilled sausage.I am a fan of Dunkel ,a nice easy drinking style that is sometimes hard to find stateside.

A amber brown beer with a settling head that forms a small layer of white foam on top.

Smell is caramellic with strong notes of decoction. Maillard products that smell like fresh baked bread and fresh malt.

Taste is rich and caramellic with notes of decoction. For sure a different taste than caramel malts. There is also a taste in here which reminds me of oats, grainy and nutty with a spicy, ginger-like taste. Bitterness is low and complements the beer.
