Wow that has to be a record, added this place on Oct. 19 and its already available for beer reviewing a week later. Good job Next Glass advocates! On sight! Where is the cursor now? Anyhoo, added the brewery, the beer and doing a review.
Anyhoo, poured a big golden color, 1/3" white head, good clarity. Very familiar beer appearance. Hey the cursor is back. Aroma was good, hits of pear, pineapple, guava, orange. I have no clue in terms of proportion in the recipe, but it smelled and tasted like El Dorado had the heaviest weight.
The taste brought a continued slightly of the beaten path pear/pineapple feel to it. Speaking of feel, the mouth feel had a way of covering the heavy bitterness and alcohol in a much easier to swallow package. Still managed to have a decent crisp and relatively light mouthfeel despite the relative massiveness. It didn't come across much in the way of the Citra/Mosaic combo that is super popular. This hit more of the El Dorado and HBC 586 light tropical notes than the weed and tangerine combo of the aforementioned hops. "The sweet smell of success, handle me with care."
