Clear, dark amber body; sparse carbonation; thin, patchy head, white; nice smooth and thick rings of foam inside the glass after every sip. Basically nothing in the aroma. Thin, watery taste; very little malt presence; fair representation of hop bitterness. Medium-light mouthfeel; smooth.
I really want to like this beer, but the lack of aroma and the flat, watery taste cannot be denied. I wish there were some canning date on the can, not that an amber ale should be so relatively nondescript and bland, but it may help explain the overall dullness of the beer.
