Poured at just warmer than fridge temp. Pours a very thick black with a few inches of light brown head. Definitely more head than most pastry stouts that I've tried. The nose is chocolate, dark fruit, pecans, vanilla.
The taste is pretty good. Gotta say that some of the flavors taste a bit artificial. Like vanilla extract was used instead of real vanilla. Not sure. Other notes include salted toffee, milk chocolate, lactose, vanilla, slight maple, bread, graham crackers, pecans, and a bit of molasses.
Mouthfeel is thick and viscous. Aftertaste is dominated by salted toffee.
