I have no idea why I bought this 500ML, black-waxed bottle since I’ve never heard of this place & it’s the only beer from the brewery on BA. Looks like they’ve been around for several years, too. Odd.
Couple layers of stubborn wax & no hiss at all when the top falls off. In unrelated news, there are no bubbles even on a hard pour. Smells like chocolate.
Chainsaw Chandelier is sweet chocolate milk. Hard to believe this isn’t riddled with lactose. The barrel is faint & contributes more booziness than taste. Vanilla isn’t immediately identifiable, but no doubt contributes to the big hit of sweetness mid-palate. Walnut? Missing. Marshmallow? Ditto the vanilla. Thick. Really thick. Split this with my wife & about eight ounces is the correct stomach setting. I think. We’ll see if I get all the way through this.
Sounded great, the execution is mundane; the more I drink the less I like. Tagging it mediocre is probably being kind.

Poured into Westbrook snifter. Deep mahogany color. Mild lacing. Smell is heavy chocolate and walnut. Don't get much in the way of marshmallow. Flavor is deep chocolate and a bit of an overriding walnut flavor. Bit of a booze burn on the back end. Thick bodied. The walnut is a touch overpowering, otherwise this would have been a major hit. Didn't get any marshmallow flavor, but perhaps helped the body.
