International Green Week, Berlin 2012: our second day and Hall 21a is where I came across the bar from Gommeraner Burgbrau: I had two of the beers on offer and had a chat with the brewer as I drank them. The first beer being this one: slight haze to the dull gold body, good head of off-white bubbles sat on top.
The aroma was of mild maltiness and some hop floral hints, better than most beers of this style.
The taste was leaning towards malt sweet rather than hop bitter, but the blend was good and both flavours were clearly present. Pleasant more than brilliant; easy to drink and refreshing enough, a nicely made beer.
