can into glass
Rich 'n' creamy, ivory colored head. Medium orange with caramel and golden tinges, for the look. Slightly fruity, heavily caramelized, medium toasted barley, with a hint of vanilla, for the aroma. Light on the flavors, which are medium toasted wood, with a little bite of a medium toasted caramel malt tinge, with a woody bite, for the flavor.

This is one pretty looking beer; first off it is crystal clear, color is a mix of amber and light brown, the head is off white and lightly clumpy in nature.
Malt leads the nose; little bit of caramel character, light toast, nut skin, hop character is light but I'd go with earthy and some light floral character.
Taste is nice; toast, light biscuit, earth laden hop character; some light fruitiness in the foreground.
Body is light, slightly watery; smooth carbonation, noticeable light bitterness; dry and clean.

Canned 3/22/24. Pour is a dark honey- amber, light head, aroma of biscuit yeast. Taste is very typical, dry with a touch of bitterness upfront, malt coming in afterwards. Nicely carbonated, free of off- tastes. It's a good example of an ale that's a regular in most British pubs.
