“Here’s a knocking indeed!” We finally made a Porter! And true to fashion, this is not a big modern American Porter but instead, a smaller more reserved English take on the style. Made with a goodly amount of Maris Otter, flake barley, amber and chocolate malts, fermented open with a clean English yeast and naturally conditioned to a soft carbonation. A rich but still dry drink with a malty, softly roast finish. “I pray you, remember the porter.”
