Golden hue with a slight haze. Very herbal, slightly citric hop nose from the Columbus hops. Assertive hop bitterness with an herbal and slightly grassy hop flavor. The malt character is a bit on the thin side, and Columbus thus dominates the flavor profile. Finishes dry with a satisfying lingering bitterness. If this beer had more of a malt backbone it would be a great IPA. It's still a very enjoyable brew.
