A small experimental batch available on tap only.
Pour is similar to Dark Rails, the head disappears a little quicker. Nose seems a bit more muted. Lots of coffee in the taste, overpowering at first but the palette adjusts. The coffee adds an earthiness to the base black IPA. Still getting liquid fruity and cocoa pebbles beyond the coffee. Medium mouthfeel. It's stronger than the base IPA so give it some more time to enjoy it thoroughly.
Overall satisfying. Recommended for those who like the barrel aged coffee stouts, and coffee in general.
