awesome spot, finally open, stoked to have them, right in garden city pretty much where all the other breweries are, a little tough to park and that might be an issue for them, not much on the street, a real small lot, not ideal, but its worth the effort. amazing space, funky and welcoming while also feeling sort of high class but not pretentious, a tough line to walk, but everything is clean and new and intentional in here, an awesome low bench along the left side when you walk in that backs up to windows looking in on the production area, a long bar in the middle of it, just a few televisions so it doesnt feel like a sports bar, some neat high top seating, plants everywhere, cool wallpaper, nice glassware, and what will be an epic patio when summer hits, love the decor in here, every detail down to the bathrooms is nice, and its immediately cozy and classy at the same time, pet friendly too which is a bonus. no food but its not missed. they had six or so beers on when we were in, a decent selection for a new operation but really nothing super exciting style or ingredient wise, fortunately, everything we had was technically excellent, including a killer porter on the robust side, a nice dunkel, well executed mexican lager, but i liked the pils too, and overall all of it was good, i think the more ambitious stuff will come in time, but there was a lot of clean drinking beers in here, nice to see such a hot start on the quality side, the liquid matched the ambiance too, this is a session spot to spend the afternoon at, so a lot of easy drinkers makes sense. the service was fine, neither overly welcoming at the bar nor problematic in any way, just not really much a part of our experience, guys pouring beer, little else, nothing to it. overall this place rules and i cant wait to go back, summer is going to be awesome on their patio but its rad inside too, im sure these guys will rise to be one of the best in boise, they are off to a heck of a start! highly recommended.

Opening day! This brewery has been very up front about their progress, and initial picture posts whet the appetite for their opening. Did not disappoint! Beautifully designed interior, not your normal slap dash wood and steel. Great service and knowledgeable staff. Only one IPA on their initial taplist, and not a sign of an adjunct anywhere. Simple, well crafted brews. Welcome to Boise, Berts! We're glad to have you!
