Bauernbier's big bad brother, strong and warming.

Very nice color - copper-red with dark shades of brown. Carbonation typically low. head small but tough and long-lasting.

High gravity (16.5 degrees Plato) and alcohol presence are felt in taste and mouthfeel but both are well hidden under the thick layer of roasted malts, caramelized sugar and bitter hops. Body big and rounded, mouthfeel almost chewy, finish hoppy and herbal, aftertaste bittersweet, delicious.

Very good beer from an unsung Brandenburg brewery. Recommended!
