A fine stout from the middle of nowhere midwest. Well worth the search
A: Dark caramel hue with a light barely noticable head on first pour. very opaque with a great continuity in color
S: Strong and deep oaky notes with roasted malts which makes it smell like iced coffee.
T: The caramel taste coats your entire mouth and the roasted malts add a very nice kick. The very oaken smell adds to the taste in your mouth
M: Coats your whole palate for a full experience. Very medium bodied for a stout. It certainly doesn't fill you up like the others, but its a very excellent change of pace because....
D: You can drink a couple of these with great ease, not a very easy thing to do with stouts. Excellent seasonal drinking

Very black with light only coming through brown at the edges. The head is thick and dense and a nice light tan color with a slight grayish cast. It eventually fades, but takes forever. Prunes, chocolate and coffee in the aroma. With char and coffee taking a little free rein over the chocolate in the flavor. The flavor is a little thin, but overall a good beer.
