(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer poured a full glass of pure off-white creamy foam with a small bit of beer in the bottom. After a minute the body was a warm light brown clear color with a good carbonation of tiny bubbles. The head lasted for a good bit but was a thin ring by about half way through the beer.
S- The smell of brown malt was followed by a soft hops and dried field corn smell.
T- The taste of brown malt was a bit bland but did have a light tartness to it and a note of coffee roasted malt. The malt flavors were pretty clean and crisp but there was a taste of tap water, which followed them. The finish was a light bitterness of green hops.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a full fizz taste in the finish.
D- The soft hops gave a nice support to the malt flavors but neither was very interesting. The flavors might have been a bit aged but I don't think it would lose that much flavor in 6 months.
