In Collaboration with our friends at our local radio station, 99X, we've brewed a West Coast-Style Pilsner! We brewed this lager like a traditional pilsner on the hot side with Zuuper Saazer hops, dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe, then lagered it for 4 weeks!

12 ounce can - $2.50 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Nearly clear, light golden-hued body with a medium-small, white head.
Smell: It's one of those times you eagerly dive in for an inviting aroma and there's hardly anything there. Very faint barley, a hint of dried herb and the merest bit of citrus-tropical fruitiness.
Taste: Lightly grainy with a moderate cereal sweetness. Persistent herbal tone amidst lemon-lime, passion fruit and a little light red berry hint. Minimally bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Great station (I still have my 99x card from the 90's). So-so beer. Side note: for a revived 90's alternative station, ostensibly appealing to those of us aged Gen Xers in our mid-40's or older, the print on the sides and rear of the can is hilariously miniscule and almost painful to attempt to read. Hold on, let me just grab my readers.
