On cask at Draught Industries in Beacon NY.
Made locally in small batches, conditioned and served in casks only.
Light amber color, low carbonation with a firm, low head of white foam that showed persistent legs and cling.
Aroma is mild, soft malt but herbal, grassy hop notes come through. Balance.
Flavor follows in perfect balance as well, mild caramel malt sweetness merges seamlessly into an herb smeared leather hop character that carries through the finish.
A fine cask ale - a rare find.
