H-Town Brewing

This is taking the place of Black Page Brewing. They did almost nothing to change the layout, except a new coat of paint and new name. So the outdoor area is still great. Though the nice layout is immediately deflated with Taylor Swift, Drake, and whatever else bad pop and Hip Hop mix they were playing. Sorry, I can't listen to that stuff for very long.

Anyway, two beers on tap right now. A Pale Wheat Ale and Hazy IPA. A Kolsch coming soon, and they say at least another new beer per week for a while. So, it is pretty bare bones for now. Though They have just opened and you can't judge too harsh on that. The wheat ale was not particularly good, the hazy was just that. If you like the style, it should be fine. They also have cocktails, wine and a food truck outside.

EDIT: On another visit tried their so called Alt, which was so sickly sweet it was hard to drink. The Brown Ale is fine, but seems really chalky and again sweet. Probably done giving this place a try.

I really liked Black Page from the start. This one, not so much. Everyone here seems sweet and works hard. I wish them luck, but lacking in quality during my couple of visits.
