Inspired by trying the OG versions from the West Coast, we thought we’d give a Cold IPA a go with good friends at Seagrove Public in Copenhagen.
A lean malt bill including 30% rice and fermented warm with a German lager strain, we added Cascade, Columbus Cryo and brand-new hop varietal Zumo from Segal Ranch USA. It’s dry, crisp and full of tangy grapefruit, orange zest and pine with a clean bitterness.
A perfect summer thirst quencher.

Pours a hazy light yellow with thick, fine head.
Smell is crisp, fruity and floral with some tart hints. Notes of lime, pineapple, grass and melon.
Taste is crisp, fruity and a bit floral and dank. Notes citrus, pineapple, grass and melon. Soft bitterness with a pilsner-like finish.
Mouthfeel is medium soft, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific cold IPA, crisp and flavorful.
