A modern West Coast IPA highlighting Nelson from the very start of the harvest. Brewed with hops from the historic, sixth-generation family farm at Eggers Hops (Lot EH25-027J-NSN) we decided to create an extremely lean malt bill using Pilsner malt and a touch of wheat to really let the hops shine.
We’re tasting bright citrus, sauvignon blanc, feijoa with a hint of durian.
Collaboration with Verdant.

Copenhagen 15/4 2026. 44 cl can from Beershoppen webshop. White can with some pink and transparent leaf-like patterns.
Pours slightly unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a several centimeters thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a mild odor of sweet exotic fruit soon overpowered by a strong citric scent. Dry vibe. Sweet pineapple and peach. Grapefruit and lemon. Hint of sour white wine. A little acidic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry,
Fine dry Indian Pale Ale with a touch of tart white wine.

Pours a semi clear yellow with fine , soapy head.
Smell is fruity and peppery. Notes of gooseberries, grapes, passionfruit, lime, pineapple, grass and pine.
Taste is fruity, peppery, intense and hoppy. Notes of gooseberries, grapes, grape skins, pine, passionfruit, grass and pineapple with a solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, an amazing IPA, bring together the bite of the west coast with the depth and spice of NZ hops. Superb.
