This is not only a brewery, but also a whisky distillery and they produce excellent vodka and nice fruit liquors as well. So all the kinds of alcohol needs can be satisfied.
The brewpub is located in a small and picturesque village, next to Spree river, in Spreewald forest, so you can cycle or paddle to the brewery. When entering the building, your are immediately surrounded by a pleasant aroma of malt.
The beer is quite good (4 beers were available on tap) as well as food - they serve typical dishes of the region and prices are very reasonable.
The only downside - they do not accept credit cards and there are no ATMs nearby. I had to learn this the hard way, by cycling 26 km to get the cash to pay for the beer.
