Fine porter. Vanilla flavor is not strong. Could have more body.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Dark brown colored body, with a mahogany brown back lit edge. One finger of light tan head, and this sticks around as a full cap. Lacing spots slide back down into the body.
Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, and chocolate, with a hint of coffee.
Taste is sweet, and has flavors of roasted malts and chocolate, and a big addition of vanilla. Coffee is part of the malt expression. The vanilla lingers into the aftertaste. Very little bitterness.
More than medium mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy texture. Very good carbonation.
So much vanilla on the first sip that it takes a few sips to acclimate. The vanilla definitely adds to the overall sweetness.
