From a 16oz can. No date on the can. I wanted to try this at the brewery, but I got called to work for an emergency situation.
This beer has a nice dark amber color to it, and is fairly clear. On tap at the brewery there was no head to the beer in the glass. At home, there was a 2 finger tan colored head. The head had fairly poor retention and there's no lacing on the glass.
The aroma is super faint. I am just getting a super faint caramel aroma, and that's it.
There's more to the flavor than the nose let on. I am getting the caramel that my nose was picking up, but it is way stronger in the flavor.
Very light body, and it does seem to be lighter than the style should be. It is not watery, just light.
The flavor is the star of the show here. It is not a bad beer by any means, but is lacking in the aroma and body department.
