A historical British-style Ale, called "Burton Ale" A rich, malty sweet darker colored Ale with a supporting firm hop bitterness. Rich deep malt notes lend impressions of dark fruit (cherries, black currants, and plums). British hops lend an earthy note mingled with orange marmalade Additional notes of trecale and toffee. Rich, sweet…but refined, and complex - just like Ol' Burty-Boy.

Pours a clear very dark amber color, with cream colored head. Aroma of dark caramel and some fig. Similar flavor, a touch swet in the start bjt finishes with some bitterness. Medium bodied.
