Wiener Lager shimmers with a play of colors between bright amber and rich copper gold, completed with an irresistibly creamy foam. The first sip establishes itself as refreshingly full-bodied and holds a malty-sweet flavor that elegantly transitions into a chocolaty, gentle bitterness. A taste so diverse and yet so down-to-earth.

Hops, malt & barley from Austrian organic cultivation are used for the brewing process. According to all rules of the purity law and under strict quality controls, we use crystal clear water from hundreds of meters deep for our beer. Enjoy not only Austria’s most famous beer, but also over 300 years of brewing experience and passion – perfected by the multiple international award-winning vice world champion of beer sommeliers.

Appearance: Brilliantly clear amber with a fluffy off-white head exhibiting excellent retention. Fast rising bubbles.

Aroma: Alcohol is not detectable. Mild spicy/herbal hops aroma. Bready with hints of toast. No esters.

Flavor & Aftertaste: Alcohol flavor is well hidden. Spicy hops with bready & toasty malts. Restrained bitterness. Low malt sweetness.

Mouthfeel: No astringency. Full bodied and soft. Moderate to high carbonation. Moderate length, clean dry finish. Some residual bitterness in the finish that is clean and fades quickly, does not build.

Overall: One of the best Vienna Lager's I've had. Start to finish, an enjoyable beer. Right off, very visually attractive. An absolutely gorgeous looking beer in a glass - any glass, but tall pilsner glass recommended. Pour produces a thick fluffy head that will last to the bottom of the glass. Aromas and flavors are delicate and pleasing. Excellent balance between sweet, bitter, hop and malt elements. Luxuriously soft mouthfeel but has a dry finish that invites another glass. No obvious flaws in my sample. This is a beer every serious Beer Advocate should try. Expertly crafted, world class beer.
