This is a beer brewed specifically (and exclusively) for ros beiaard club. Me friend in Ghent shared a bottle with me. Reviewed live.
A: One finger head of slight cream and fair thickness. Average retention. Yeasty semitransparent dark yellow colour. A mild strength scent.
Sm: Amber hops, buttery notes.
T: Very yeasty, even in the texture. More simple than expected, with pleasant crystal hops towards the finish. Refreshing. Full barley foundation. Amber hops on top of the barley foundation are well supported. Slight pear and other fruit ester hops on the climax add a pleasant touch.
Mf: Crunchy biscuity yeast adds another dimension to the beer. Smooth, wet, and surprisingly light for the ABV. Very complementary of the flavours in the body.
Dr: Slides down very easily, high ABV, and good quality. I'd have it again - if I could find it. Worth a go if you come across it.
