I visited Werewolf Beer when I was in London a few weeks ago. Like many breweries in London, it’s located in a railway arch, though the “taproom” itself, so to speak, is mostly outdoors, partially covered in tents. The place has a real unique vibe — kind of a horror-themed psychobilly-meets-death metal-meets-punk vibe (their tagline is “An American Brewery in London” and there’s all kinds of band stickers and pop art everywhere). The brewhouse is right there with you in the taproom, which I dig. There was a DJ spinning death metal when I was there, which was late in the afternoon, but I got the feeling it’s much more of an “after-dark” kinda place. The DJ seemed cool and the lady pouring beers behind the counter was also nice.

They had 6 beers on tap when I was there (normally 8 but two were out): American pale ale, American lager, WCIPA, rye IPA, a “citrus session ale”, and a “strawberry feral weisse”, whatever that is. I had the session ale and the APA, and I will say that while the beer was not terrible, it was probably my least favorite of the five breweries I visited in London that week.
