Pint at Wetherspoons in Helensburgh. Dark amber to gold colour (a bit of a guess in dim lighting) with a typical 'spoons head. A citrus and brown sugar nose: smells good. A tad more watery feeling than expected, but it is a good citrus brew. Starts off very sweetly, becoming more piney with grapefruit, tangerine and a hint of caramel. A slightly leafy aftertaste becomes apparent towards the end of my pint and I can taste the alcohol a bit too. All in all good stuff.

One of JTW's specially created brews. A St Archer Pale Ale produced at their Wolverhampton brewery.
Light marmalade colour. Tight, white and long lasting head.
Citrus hops. A touch of pine.
Bitter orange flavour. Maybe some digestive biscuit. Rather harsh at the end.
Softly carbonated.
Refreshing.
