Keg half pint, served ice cold, at Wetherspoons Victoria Station, London. Golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Lagerish mouthfeel. Hoppy flavour, grapefruity and piney notes.

Bottled and purchased as a takeout by my better half Julie
Pours a crystal clear golden body with big thick foaming white head
First note was that stewed hop most associated with English pale ale then I got fizzy lemon vitamin
Slight citrus edge on a bitter
I should imagine little like the original

Bottle. Amber. Medium dense head.
Aroma of toffee malt and light citrus hops.
Leafy hop taste. Some biscuit. Medium but rather harsh bitter completion.
Moderate body. Average carbonation.
Too English for an AIPA but always available on keg at a JDW's. Made for the masses.

Pint at JDW in Sutton Surrey.
Served in a custom made Devils Backbone pint glass.
A: Bronzy amber in colour, clear, initial half finger head morphed into a lid of film,
decent amount of lacing clung to the side of the glass.
S: Citrus hops and farmyard funk.
T: Grapefruit, lots of biscuit, earthy, some burnt caramel provided the
sweetness which kept the bitterness in check. Long bitter wheaty finish.
M: Smooth, moderate carbonation, medium body.
O: An English style bitter/IPA mash up. Had balance and depth, one to try out and revisit while at JDW establishments.
