Copenhagen 5/11 2025. 50 cl can from DrokBeer webshop. White can with a drawing of an old lady's face looking at me patiently.
Pours opaque, unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citric and fresh scent. Sweet pale malts, bread and a bit of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor îs medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A quite tasty, simple Czech lager.
