A full-bodied, pleasantly bitter twelve with caramel tones and a distinctive spicy aroma, which is given by Rubín hops

Copenhagen 22/11 2025. 50 cl can from DrikBeer web-shop. White can with a crude drawing of the face of a sneaky old lady.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden amber with a big white head. Settles as a lumpy, uneven layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and toasted malty odor mingling with a bit of grass and citrus. Caramel and toasted white bread. Orange jam and a hint of brown sugar. Whiff of lemon and grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, soft, smooth, light tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sourish streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice and bitter Czech Amber Ale.
