From Good Times Oakland, canned November 3rd 2025.

It pours a clear pale gold with a finger of foam, retention is okay, lacing is good.

Smell is noble hop like aroma, grassy, light spicy, some grain.

Taste is grassy, spicy hops, toasted malt, some light bread.

Light bodied with good carbonation, this is good but not something I would seek out.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in North Park.

Appearance: pale golden hue with a little dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.

Smell: sweet malt with a dash of graininess and just a little bit of a corn pops aroma. Just enough to add a little character ... I dig it.

Taste: moderately sweet malt with a bit of graininess and a nice, soft yeastiness. Hops are lightly grassy and remind me of springtime. A tasty lager!

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: at 4.8%, it's a refreshing and super quaffable lager. Very nice out on a sunny patio!

I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in my life. Though I do remember while playing a hockey match for my high school team where this ultimate punk just cross checked the hell out of me where I surely fell to the floor after sustaining the attack. Damn right in front of my goalie too and he didn’t jump in or even tell me what number the perpetrator was. Moving along… Yes, it is no longer summer. It is now the season of Fall. And during this glorious month Raul chants, “Plenty For All.”

Oh yeah, the beer isn’t all that bad either.

Kind of heavy for a Pilsner. Might have been a little too warm in this bar.

On tap at Fall Brewing Company

Look: Crystal clear golden yellow with a thick white head.

Smell: Crisp and clean. Bitter hops. Clean Pilsner body. Light sweetness.

Taste: Like the nose. Crisp and clean. It’s a bit sweeter than the nose showed. A sort of honey bread crust sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Crisp and clean. A tad more body than your typical euro Pilsner. Bright carbonation. Refreshing but full flavored.

Overall: An excellent quenching craft Pilsner. Hits just the right spot on a warm SoCal day.

Have enjoyed a few pints around town at a few random places. I remember this being better the first time but this one is pretty mediocre. Nowhere near the quality craft Pils you can find now.

Almost the color of a pale orange IPA so it belies some rich brewing. Had on draft at Bottlecraft in San Diego. There's some gravitas to this nose - earthy, malty with crisp classic baked pilsner notes. Comes across as the same in the taste - malty, grassy, earthy, bread like but yet with a clean and crisp profile. Well done pilsner.

One of the best domestic representations of the style I’ve ever had.
