Fruity, smooth, and hazy IPA. The usual cloudy stuff but enlivened by lots of foam in the Ommegang chalice. Lively and pleasantly prickly on the tongue. Plenty of hop acids. Aromatic with peach and lime peel. Fairly clean taste and better than lots of the other murky IPAs.
Moderately sweet on the lips but finishes dry and tangy. Tangerine peel flavor with a modest bitter edge while a little too much astringency lingers. Grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste. I"d call it a New England hazy Brut. From the 16 oz can purchased at BottleCraft in Liberty Station.
