Picked up a 0,5L bottle for €1.29 dated best by 29.02.24 from the local Edeka during a weekly trip. Bottle cap label tab emphasizes "Bottich Gärung" which I've translated to "Vat Fermented." One of the breweries they're recently stocking and I'm happy to try anything from them. This turned out to be surprisingly good, even better than their Kellerbier, which is rare for me! Has the classic aroma, flavor, and finish of a good Helles, but the feel/body really stands out. Creamy, barny, grainy, delicious. Drinking smooth and way too easy, it really is quite good.
