MARCH 2026.
33cl Can (Batch: L735 - Best Before: April 2027).
A 6.8% ABV West Coast IPA style beer hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Cascade.
It's golden when poured, slightly hazy (but not overly so), with a slightly underwhelming head after a three-shot pour.
Medium body on the palate, with present but rather subtle carbonation.
Aromatic profiles on the palate emphasize citrus peel, with light reflections of ripe orange, and herbaceous and resinous notes that don't overwhelm the palate.
The finish is dry, with a "controlled" bitterness that lingers briefly on the tongue without interfering with the orange peel and grapefruit notes on the palate.
Decently drinkable, but with little to make it memorable.
A "standard" craft beer, designed not to upset the most delicate palates, while preserving a truly distinctive character.
A classic example of a craft product that has compromised with the market, designed to be enjoyed by those who want to drink craft beers without being too "upset" from their routine...
Yet another craft beer, likely with very low production costs, designed to remain anonymous in exchange for the compromise of being drinkable by virtually anyone, thus gaining distribution in the many establishments that encourage this consumerist attitude.
True West Coast IPAs are something else.
